Working on the website more

I decided to rework some of my music video to adjust it better to the aesthetic of my new music video! The colour shave been adjusted to fit the main focus of the music video: mango soda! The splodges will have merch on them while the splodges represent the soda/juice related to the music video. :-) I wanted it to feel more DIY and art themed as that is what a lot of the music video is focussed on (including the little doodles!). The website will include references to the music video (eg, a cat I am going to include).

Music Video Contact Sheet

Over the weekend, I filmed content mainly based on the narrative and selected the ones which I deemed would be the most useful for the music video (clips without mistakes, ones with nicer lighting, clips which match my vision, etc.). More content will be filmed and some may be refilmed!

After careful consideration, I made the decision to restart my music video. I chose to make my music video more narrative based while still having lip sync, b-roll and instruments! Mango Soda by Kuala is an alternative/indie song about the innocent love between a couple, so I decided to base my music video's narrative on this concept, alongside having many shots that match the lyrics which is a key concept of  Andrew Goodwin's music video theory. To build on both a brand and an alternative/indie artist, I decided to continue the idea of having little animations throughout the music video to make it more playful and more alternative!

Going through filmed content

 Over the summer I filmed my clips for my music video and I spent some of the lesson going through of the videos to choose my favourites and remove the ones that are unusable (any with mistakes) to ensure the lip syncing is the best it can possibly be.
